Log Entry 21: Taken from Head Councilor Vasquez's Chambers on 09/11/2017 at 13:29:36

Councilor Vasquez: Mr. Iskander Hacon. I appreciate your cooperation.

Iskander Hacon: Of course, Councilor. I only ask that the bodies of my father and brother are released to me. For proper burial.

Vasquez: Certainly.

I. Hacon: Councilor, if I may ask; why are you allowing me to walk away?

Vasquez: (Pause) Because I have a newfound appreciation for the ability to know when your stance is wrong. And to act on that instinct.

I. Hacon: It was... not an easy choice, Councilor.

Vasquez: I know. That's what makes it so commendable.

I. Hacon: Thank you, Councilor. I only hope my son does not have to make a similar choice.
